Review: Bass Pro Shops: The Strike (with Fishing-Rod Controller)

Summary of game:

Bass Pro Shops: The Strike is a game that attempts replicate the fishing experience, fishing -rod and all, without having to spend a lot of cash on equipment or having to go out to those exotic fishing locations, with that said your experience will definitely not be the same. For starters if you only purchase the game and not the fishing-rod controller then your in for a very limited fishing experience. While the fishing-rod is not needed to play the game, it is well worth the money (as saying goes a good fishing-rod makes all the difference).

Storyline:

The game takes you through a fishing tournament style setting that progresses as your score increases and you gain experience which will also enable you to improve your fishing gear and equipment. The game also includes player competitions such as casting etc.

Gameplay:

Fun game for the whole family; reading the instructions for use with the standard controller will enhance your gaming experience, in lieu of or absence of the fishing-rod controller that will lead to less frustration.  The fishing-rod controller requires some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it your gaming experience will greatly improve.
